Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Banking Lab for a Devops within the Everyday Banking Platform.

About Us
Everyday Banking is a key platform for Lloyds Banking Group with a very broad reach across the Bank’s customer base and a diverse stakeholder group. The platform is responsible for the end-to-end journeys for personal current accounts and savings products to consumers, and providing a market leading customer experience through the servicing of Debit and Credit cards through multiple channels. The platform also includes the Core Banking System and Vault Banking Products labs who support the run and change needed to operate all core banking products for the LBG brands, product APIs, transaction and statement services that are needed for channel interactions.

We're looking for driven individuals to tackle a DevOps Engineering role, helping to deliver exciting customer driven solutions. From our DevOps team we lead the way in defining the best of new technology offerings, working closely with Engineering Leads to collectively drive the software development and delivery agenda whilst balancing the requirements of the UKs leading retail bank. The ultimate measure of success for us is leveraging these best of breed software and platform solutions so that we can continuously improve how we deliver market leading applications for our customers.

It’s a very hands-on role, with your time spread among short term support-related tasks, longer-term initiatives, problem-solving, optimising, forecasting, planning and personal development. There really is no such thing as a typical day as a DevOps Engineer in our team!
Job Description
DevOps Engineer - Everyday Banking
Location: London based with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week
Salary & Benefits: £61,176.00 - £99,411.00 GBP base salary, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

What we're looking for on your CV?
  • Extensive Kubernetes & Docker experience
  • Hands on involvement in CI/CD automation
  • Git experience
  • Experience building/deploying Java or Node applications
  • Experience with Terraform or Helm Chart
  • Experience with Unix or Linux systems
  • Groovy scripting experience
It would also be great if you had -
  • Linux administration experience
  • Experience with UrbanCode Deploy (IBM)
