Job description
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Scanning and/or ringing customers' purchases
- Bagging customer orders
- Collecting payment for customer transactions
- Stocking supplies in the immediate area, returning shopbacks, retrieving carts, and miscellaneous cleaning and straightening of various shelf sections as needed
- Directing customers to an appropriate manager when necessary

Requirements:- Ability to maintain a friendly and courteous manner and promote sales through excellent customer service
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
- Basic computer skills and the ability to operate a cash register, scanner, telephone system, and scale
- Ability to handle money, checks, and other media, and the ability to distinguish between various forms of currency
