Introduction
IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DevOps Consultant you will work in a fast paced and dynamic environment to support our leading clients in delivering meaningful change to their organisations. This will include implementing custom solutions, as well as use of open source DevOps tools. You will also be contributing to our continuous improvement and continuous delivery while increasing maturity of DevOps and our agile adoption practices. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Collaborating to drive a commercial outcome as DevOps Engineer
  • Experience working with at least one cloud platform (e.g. AWS/ GCP / Azure) at associate certified level
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and different automation technologies (e.g. Jenkins/ Tekton / UCD/ Airflow)
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code & Configuration as Code tools (e.g. Terraform / Cloud Formation / Cloud Deployment Manager / Ansible / Chef / Puppet / SlatStack )
  • Containerisation experience working with Kubernetes & Docker, writing scripts to achieve automation & serverless architecture interfacing with relational databases and No-SQL databases

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Site Reliability Engineering, experience in implementing and maintaining secure and scalable architecture
  • Experience with administration, monitoring and maintenance of production systems
