Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build the infrastructure for large-scale data and video streaming platforms.
- Manage the deployment of R&D systems, enabling the broader engineering teams.
- Streamline and optimize development team processes, reducing complexity and time required for deployment and maintenance of services.
- Drive improvements in security, proactively reducing the risk of compromise and enhancing the visibility of security incidents.
- Collaborate and partner with development teams, providing expertise in infrastructure management.
- Effectively communicate ideas and solutions to ensure the implementation of the best possible outcomes.
- Foster knowledge sharing and contribute to the team's growth by sharing ideas and techniques across development teams.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
To excel in this senior-level role at Hawk-Eye, you should possess the following experience:
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (IAM, Load Balancers, VPC, S3, Route53, EC2, ECS). Experience with AWS Direct Connect, Peering, and PrivateLink is a plus.
- Proficiency in Ansible and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices.
- In-depth knowledge of security principles.
- Expertise in Docker and containerization.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Familiarity with message brokers such as AMQ, Pulsar, and RabbitMQ.
What we would love you to have >>
The following experience would be highly desirable in this role:
- Experience with package repositories, such as Artifactory.
- Proficiency in observability, tracing, monitoring, and alerting tools like DataDog, Grafana, and Elastic.
- Understanding of microservice architecture.
- Knowledge of high availability concepts.
- Familiarity with databases and datastores
