Arriva UK Trains are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team on a fixed term contract. If you are someone who enjoys leading the design and delivery of talent acquisition solutions that add value to our resourcing processes and enhance our ability to attract and recruit a diverse workforce, this could be the role for you.
The successful post holder will be responsible for working with the Talent Acquisition Partners and local HR teams across our division to enhance our candidate attraction strategy, ensuring it is fully aligned to our diversity & inclusion agenda. A hands-on approach will be required, along with an excellent understanding of both current and emerging challenges in the resourcing world, and the ability to collaborate with the internal customer.
Work with the Talent Acquisition team members to identify improvements in the attraction, selection and recruitment service
Design and deliver new initiatives that are aligned to our strategic plans
Contribute to the development of policies and technical procedures which have an impact across the business and provide highly specialist resourcing advice and share subject-matter expertise to build talent acquisition capability
Work with internal and external partners on the development and implementation of our attraction strategy, specifically around our candidate attraction approaches (including social media)
Develop key reporting metrics which align with the overall delivery of the talent acquisition strategy.
Demonstrable ability to manage and deliver multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within direct team and wider internal customer group
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
Excellent awareness of factors driving the candidate environment
