Product Development Engineer
Location: Dartford Kent with Hybrid remote working
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 + 10% bonus and benefits
Join an industry leader in manufacturing technical vehicle safety equipment and products for the Automotive and Agricultural sector as a Product development Engineer. My client design and manufactures complex electronic vehicle safety products such reverse camera sensors and radar obstacle detection systems.
The Role - Product Development Engineer:
Reporting directly to the Product Development Manager you will be:
- Lead and manage product development through the product lifecycle
- Supplier engagement and managing their expectation
- Product verification validation both in house and external
- Create requirements and engineering specification
- Product development and design for manufacturing
- Prepare detailed component technical drawings, documentation and user manuals
- Help customers with sales and marketing on technical solutions
Experience/Skills required - Product Development Engineer:
- HND or HNC or degree qualified in Electronics Engineering
- 3 years industry experience in an Electronics product development (Would consider less)
- A good understanding of analogue and digital Electronics
- Knowledge of electronics and software design and development with some testing experience
- Basic understanding of embedded software
- Interest in automotive or Electronics the industry
