We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving any hardware or software issues. This includes troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of computer systems, as well as providing customer service and technical support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a passion for helping people with their technology needs.
Key requirements:
In depth knowledge of desktop Operating Systems, Windows 10
At least 3 years’ experience in diagnosing hardware/software problems
Experience supporting zero client hardware desirable
Experience of Windows AD administration
Knowledge of Network Protocols and their troubleshooting
Experience of VMware required
Experience of Citrix desirable
Experience of SCCM or similar for endpoint Client Management desirable
Experience of Lotus Domino basic administration
Experience of current MS Office products including Outlook
Knowledge of Bloomberg Professional
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £50,000.00 per year
