About this role
Location: Birmingham
As a direct report to a Desk Sales Manager of the North & Midlands CPS team, this role is responsible for providing in-life customer relationship management and delivering new business sales. You will be the dedicated contact for a customer base of around 50 corporate or public sector accounts, acting as the customers front door to BT.
Customer satisfaction is a significant factor for your clients, whether working with them singly from the desk, or as part of an overall account team. And base revenue growth alongside this customer feedback will make up your annual targets - through new business, cross sell, upgrades and renewals.
A team of product experts and service managers are on hand to support your success and your customers journey with BT.
Responsibilities
- In charge of closing own contract sales to deliver against revenue targets either on your own, or as part of team within a customer base of either private or public sector customers.
- Responsible for outbound sales prospecting and opportunities, regular and consistent calling of customers and promotion of BT products and services.
- Accurately forecast business KPI’s to management teams.
- Proactively manage churn risk across your base, defending the revenue.
- Recognise and deliver against opportunities for business growth via a multi-channel
- Engage with product specialists to deliver solutions to our customers, maximising each sale.
- Acts as the desk-based point of contact for the customer/partner developing long term customer relationships.
- Achieve high quality levels of customer service to gain positive feedback.
- Supporting the wider team, maintaining our learning culture.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in winning sales, either as part of an overall account team or with closing own contracts where acting as the single point of contact
- Proven track record of delivering against targets within a sales role
- Recognises and delivers against opportunities for business growth via a multi-channel approach
