We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Design Studio Lead to join the team. You’ll be responsible for the daily output of the design team, including managing workloads, scheduling freelance support during busy periods and working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met. This is a travelling role, and you will be required to travel to various different events across the globe, including Formula 1.
Our in-house design team works across a wide variety of design disciplines, including Graphic Design, Motion Design, Interior Design and 3D Visualisation/ Concept Rendering. Projects range from small printed pieces, all the way through to large scale activations incorporating LED, lighting and sound.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and develop a small team of creatives, managing day-to-day operations and supporting their growth
- Working on designs from conception to delivery
- Be ultimately responsible for the delivery of work, including sending artwork to print and submitting design proposals to clients
- Attend Live events and look after the schedule for the design team
- Developing new ideas and concept decks for new and existing clients.
- Maintaining and developing the Sport Signage brand, including our Newsletter, Company Book and promotional material. As well as ensuring brand consistency is maintained across the business.
- Continually look for ways to improve current operating practices.
- Ensuring all design deadlines are met
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree level qualification in Graphic Design or related subject.
- Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Comfortable with using shared folders to transport files
- Be familiar with Office 365
- Experience in other software such as Cinema 4D would be a bonus

- Have extensive experience in creative roles, proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing creative teams.
- The ability to build relationships at all levels
- Ability to work under the pressure of live events

- Adaptable and quick to learn new skills and techniques
- Confident and extremely well organised.
- An ability to multitask
- Demonstrate flexibility in fast moving environment
- Availability and willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends and public holidays
A full drivers license is required for this role.
You must be fluent in English, however other languages are a bonus.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
