POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for further enabling the success of Evolutions Digital Culture within Company Operations. Individual will do this by driving technology adoption and data-oriented decision making specifically throughout EWS Field Ops. This position will be responsible for identifying technology gaps and digital opportunities within the operations organization or the field and will work to address these areas in a variety of ways. Individual will engage in training personnel on new and existing software, dashboards, applications, or best practices and will lead process and/or workflow refinement or modification based on data analytics. Additionally, the Operations Data Analyst will partner directly with EWS Customers to achieve mutually beneficial digital objectives.

- Work closely with EWS Field Operations, Field Engineers, and Asset Integrity, Mechanical, and Electrical teams to drive technology in accordance with Evolutions Digital Culture.
- Identify existing gaps and/or new opportunities to enhance Evolutions overall data strategy or the efficacy of said strategy throughout field operations
- This may include identification of new datasets or transducers, applications, software packages, or areas for automation. It may also include creating or refining existing dashboards, creating/delivering training programs, and the integration of new data-driven processes etc.
- Bring relevant data and insights to our core business by leveraging the full stack of EWS reporting tools, dashboards, analytics etc.
- Evaluate how information is captured and utilized by EWS Operations and implement strategies to transform decision making to be more digitally focused.
- This may involve the elimination of historical spreadsheets in an effort to standardize data capture practices and educate Operations personnel on how this information can be used to drive value and process enhancements.
- Manage and support the implementation/ongoing execution of Evolutions Machine Learning strategy.
- This involves but is not limited to working with supervisors, operators, mechanics, and all relevant parties to ensure process for successful adoption is well understood, model outputs are thoroughly documented, decision support matrices have been defined, and full ML stack is leveraged to maximize operational efficiencies.
- Undertake analysis projects focused on areas such as equipment management, change evaluation, move optimization, maintenance scheduling etc.
- Design, build, and implement tailored dashboards for field use
- Partner with EWS customers on shared digital initiatives. This may include but is not limited to regular customer communication on digital initiatives, accommodation of requests for data (historical or real-time), joint analysis work, shared automation efforts, and general advocacy for digital technology.
- Work with EWS customers to understand their data needs and help identify ways to meet them
- Work with EWS customers to help them better understand our digital strategy and how its driving value for our business and theirs
- Will be required to travel to visit with EWS Customers
- Will be required to regularly visit EWS field locations. Frequent contact with field operations personnel will be critical to the identification and management of gaps and opportunities. It will allow for the delivery of hands-on training, demonstrations, or support.
- Assist with troubleshooting datavan software or application issues, data questions, Power BI concerns etc.
- Be flexible, able to grow and evolve in and with this role as business and/or customer needs change. Be comfortable wearing many hats on any given day.
- Understand EWSs current technology stack and recognize ways in which we can bring data, insights, and information closer to our decision points
- Work with multi-disciplined team to gather requirements for current and future technology projects work with multi-disciplined team to execute.
- Facilitate, manage, and build reports on data captured from field equipment & real-time data sensors
- Assist with the continuous development and implementation of Evolutions overall data strategy
- Educate current and potential stakeholders on EWS technology
- Be an internal and external advocate for Evolutions digital culture
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
- BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Minimum 3-5+ years experience in a field-focused engineering, technical, or analytics role.
- Understanding of and comfortability with data, analytics, technology, reporting, and automation. Must also understand how these digital cornerstones drive organizational value.
