DESCRIPTION

The Derivatives Clearing department covers the full front to back lifecycle of a trade of Listed Derivatives trades, and the clearing cycle for OTC Cleared Swaps. Within Client Operations - Derivatives Clearing Client Service Group involves extensive contact with our clients, our colleagues in Operations, Prime Brokerage and our global sales force. The group's primary responsibility is to ensure that the client's Listed Derivatives and OTC Clearing settlement figures are accurate each day and answer all client queries promptly. The Client Service Management team is the primary Operational point of escalation for any clients clearing their Derivatives products at Morgan Stanley. This entails the resolution of all trade breaks, the monitoring of all cash activity in the account and ensuring that the account is fully margined. The business is volume driven so having exceptional organizational skills is a plus. Qualified applicants must be adaptable to change, as some days will require you to work on many different jobs at once. The emphasis of the team is to be a Relationship Manager and provide superior service to the client base.

  • Operational escalation contact for daily Derivatives Clearing business, navigating the organization for our clients
  • Risk management of margins, expiries and market events
  • Perform Client service reviews and meetings, sending call reports, client metrics and trend analysis
  • Educate and influence clients towards optimum tooling and operational processes
  • Partnering with internal stakeholder groups to identify inefficiencies and implement enhanced processes
  • Handling various administrative duties
  • Promote MS core values to build an inclusive and collegial working environment

QUALIFICATIONS
