Are you looking for your next challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen within Division E (Women’s & Childrens) to support our NHS/Self-funded IVF unit.
Cambridge IVF has a very ambitious plan for growth and quality. The post of Deputy Operations Manager will focus on: growing the service; meeting the quality standards required by the NHS Trust and our regulator; maximising efficiency; and supporting our clinicians and scientists to achieve results that are equivalent to the leading international clinics.
The aim is for Cambridge IVF to become one of the UK’s largest IVF units and for it to meet or exceed annual income targets. The clinic has the opportunity to do so as it has been selected by NHS commissioners to be a provider of NHS funded treatment. You will work with our clinicians to attract NHS and self-funded patients to the clinic for their treatment.
You will be a key member of the team responsible for new services that are being planned for launch. You will support on increasing the clinic’s social media presence and publicising the outstanding work by the team, aimed at achieving success rates that are as good as the very best clinics internationally.
The key focus of this post will be internal to the Trust, delivering the key objectives and targets of the Directorate and organization. You will manage the Cambridge IVF service, ensuring the delivery of key targets within the budgeted resources available. You will contribute to strategic and annual business planning for their service areas, including the engagement of senior medical and other staff, as required. You will also coordinate the planning, development and implementation of service improvement, capital and other projects for the areas they are responsible for. You will administer clinical governance processes within their areas and assist in the management of risk.
Strict regulations apply to quality management in IVF units. You will be instrumental in ensuring that clinic maintains its 5 star rating from the fertility regulator. You will also be responsible for building on the programme that has led to the clinic being one of the top rated clinics in the UK on the regulator’s website.
Provide cross cover across the Directorate as required.
