This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy IAPT service and contribute to the provision of a stepped-care service for psychological problems.

The post is based at St Leonard’s Hospital in Hoxton but may involve travel to other community and primary care sites in Hackney. Full-time staff are expected to work on-site two days per week and work remotely three days per week.

Talk Changes is a well-established service with a commitment to quality and service innovation. You will be joining a team of 45 PWP’s, Trainee and Senior PWP’s and 40 High Intensity Therapists with ready access to specialist supervision. We also have good links with regional clinical/counselling psychology training courses and substantial in-service training programmes.

The post holder will assist the Low Intensity Clinical/Operational Lead in clinical and operational management of Low Intensity assessment clinics and Low Intensity treatments. The post holder will work closely with Psychological Wellbeing Practioners, Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and High Intensity therapists.

They will manage key aspects of clinical and operational delivery at Low Intensity. They will provide clinical skills and case management supervision to Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practioners and other Low Intensity staff. They will assist with line managing the Low Intensity workforce, including management of annual leave requests and sickness. The post holder will be expected to participate in supervision, audit and clinical governance systems. They will work under the direction of senior colleagues to enhance interventions (including online CBT and groups) to meet the highest clinical quality as well as promoting and develop the Step 2 service.
