An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Finance Business Partner to join the Financial Management team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. We are proud to have won Finance team of the year in the HFMA Kent, Surrey and Sussex awards last year, and the new post is as a result of additional investment into the team.
We are looking for a professional, highly motivated CCAB/CIMA qualified accountant or finalist to support one of the Community Services teams across Kent. The successful applicant will have experience of finance and innovation within a complex organisation; this will include providing high quality financial management and business support, and the preparation and delivery of reports for senior committees.
The post is home based with some travel to meetings in Kent.

To join us you will also need to be highly motivated and have excellent written and verbal communication skills because this role is a key member of our team, providing professional support to directors and budget holders.
The Deputy Finance Business Partner post is an excellent opportunity for you to gain senior finance experience and further develop your skills.
Key duties include:
- Providing a comprehensive, customer focused management accounting service.
- Producing an accurate year-end forecast and information on key variances and trends - influencing clinicians and managers to use management accounting information to effectively maximise resources.
- Supporting and monitoring of cost improvement plans for services, providing financial support and challenges.
- Supporting managers in developing a business focus and financial risk management.
