We’re currently looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support Governance and Quality between the business and Technology teams focusing on HR Data and HR Systems related Projects.
You’ll be supporting the UK HR Data Steward in the management of HR data in terms of its quality, who can access it and for what purpose, as well as where the data flows to and from across the business both locally and globally. You will also be a privacy advocate who will act as the first point of contact for queries relating to HR data, improvements and its protection.
To be successful in this role you will work collaboratively across the Organisation team - who are responsible for HR Systems transformation working with business stakeholders to understand changes, translate these into specific requirements to be addressed by the project and assess the impact of any change that utilises HR data by using an array of data capture, modelling, and analytical techniques.
As the Data Analyst you’ll also participate in the build and launch of Employee 360. This is a global initiative focused on building a truly global shared data hub, data models, appropriate governance and controls, powerful visualization, and predictability capabilities for all Santander countries.

Ensuring HR data quality is second to none and compliant with internal standards set out by Chief Data Office and external legislation e.g., GDPR
Supporting the custodian for HR data, ensuring sensitive and personal data is restricted and is only accessed by entitled persons.
Working with CDO and Domain Data Owners to help to implement controls for key data items that improve the quality of data that flows around the bank.
Supporting HR Systems projects and initiatives, ensuring effective engagement with project team members and stakeholders in support of robust and successful project outputs.
Continuously reviewing core data processes and flows and recommending suggestions for operational improvements and changes.
What you’ll bring
Previous experience as a Data Analyst or in Data Management / Governance, and Knowledge of HR data & HR Systems.
Excellent analytical and modelling skills, with an analytical mindset and evidence-based approach
It would also be nice for you to have.
Experience operating in a project / programme environment, working with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies and meeting deadlines.
Problem solving skills (breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces, vetting assumptions, create frameworks, testing hypotheses)
Experience working with Workday and/or Power BI is desirable.
What else you need to know.
This is a 24-month fixed-term contract based in Milton Keynes with flexible working 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
