Job description

We are looking for a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer to join our Apprenticeship Quality Compliance team.


As a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer you will be experienced in the implementation of effective Safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures within apprenticeships provision or similar. You will be liaising with learners, staff, employers and external organisations to safeguard all learners.


This is an excellent opportunity for a Safeguarding Support Officer who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

About You

  • You will have recent experience of working is a similar role

  • Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and guidance

  • Detailed knowledge of apprenticeship provision

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification

  • GCSE in English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent

  • Experience of effectively facilitating meetings and provided supporting information and data

  • Current knowledge of regulatory bodies such as the ESFA and Ofsted

  • Flexible approach and attitude to work, ability to travel within the UK (when required) and occasional overnight stay

  • Experience of handling large amounts of sensitive data and upholding the principles of confidentiality
