DEPUTY AREA MANAGER

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Area Manager we are seeking to recruit two Deputy Area Managers to coach, train and develop our Pharmacy Managers and their teams to deliver the highest quality pharmaceutical care to the communities they serve.
This is a unique and exciting role that combines pharmacy practice with multi-site field-based management. You will spend 1 day per week working in various branches across your area alongside the teams you manage. The remaining 4 days will be field based, working with the Area Manager coordinate, monitor and develop the individual pharmacy businesses whilst ensuring that business performance is maximised.
To be Successful
You are a NVQ2 qualified dispenser or NVQ3 qualified technician with a minimum of 5 years’ pharmacy experience, with evidence of consistent delivery of key business metrics. You must also be able to demonstrate how you have impacted on the performance of the businesses and the teams you have managed and bring your experience to life using previous examples.
With excellent communication skills, you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You have experience in managing, coaching and developing teams and always lead by example.
Previous multi-site or field-based management experience in pharmacy is essential.
