Teesside University is an ambitious and innovative institution located in the heart of Middlesbrough in the North East of England. The Campus Services Department provides a range of essential services, which contribute to university life for students, staff, and visitors. We are responsible for providing a safe, secure, and comfortable environment, and work hard to provide the best possible service to everyone in the Teesside University community.

We are seeking a new team member who will be based within our Learning Environment Team. The position is a roving position, and the purpose of the role is to provide reception, clerical, data input, reprographics, and post room duties across areas within the Campus Services Department. The role holder will be allocated to each area on an as needed basis.

All staff appointed to Campus Services are expected to respond to the changing priorities of the Department, and to be imaginative and flexible in servicing the needs of a dynamic, developing institution. Therefore, the Department Assistant must be prepared to respond positively to any request which is reasonably appropriate for the level of appointment. You must be able to build a rapport and excellent working relationships with students, staff and visitors as this role primarily covers university frontline services.
