Dental Receptionist/Administrator
Our client, an established Dental Practice in Cheltenham, are looking to recruit a full-time Dental Receptionist to work in a busy and rewarding front of house role. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised self-starter who is used to working to exceptionally high standards, to join a modern, forward-thinking practice.
Working as part of the busy front of house team, you will be in charge of the whole patient journey, from taking enquiries to exiting the practice. Calm and professional, you will provide an excellent customer service to all patients, both face to face and over the phone. Maintaining confidentiality at all times, you will ensure patients are fully informed and you will always be looking to maintain and improve the overall patient experience.
The role involves a variety of practice administration using our in-house dental software package, data entry and management of confidential information. No two days are the same so you will need to be able to react quickly and confidently to changing demands. You will monitor the appointment booking system to ensure there are no delays for patients or clinicians. A key part of the role will be understanding and providing information on services the practice offers and accurately managing associated fees and payments by patients. You will follow up treatment plans with patients when needed and ensure fees have been allocated correctly along with any outstanding debts.
About You
· Excellent communication skills and experience of dealing professionally with people at all times. This is ideally gained in a Dental, Medical or hospitality environment
· Smart and professional appearance
· Excellent administration skills
· Competent IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly and accurately
· Ability to work both independently and as part of the wider practice team
· Excellent time management skills
· Previous experience in a customer service role is essential

Our client is offering a competitive starting salary of £22,522 per annum rising to £24,000 after a successful probationary period. You will be offered 28 days holiday a year, access to free CPD and an experienced and supportive, friendly team.
