Your New Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Store Person to join our Local Highways Team in Stafford.
The salary is £21,244
Our Staffordshire County Council which was awarded to us in 2014 is to support our county’s highways infrastructure. We deliver infrastructure services across 6,000KM of Staffordshire by providing maintenance to road, cycle routes, bridges, tunnels, lighting, drainage, traffic signals, trees and land.
Store persons plays an important part in carrying out such works we aim to improve and provide effective highways services for the local residents and communities of Staffordshire
The standard hours of work are 40
You will be responsible for:
- Keeping records of material & tool stock counts
- loading on to vehicles
- Carry out regular depot checks and endeavour to achieve high levels of safety, and environmental inspections
Promote safe working practices and ensure implementation and compliance to the Amey Safety Management System.
- To ensure that high standards of housekeeping is maintained
- Maintain regular and appropriate dialogue in order to deliver required assistance
- Receiving, unloading, and correctly storing delivery of supplies and materials.
- Raising P O orders
What you will Bring:
- Knowledge of risk assessment
- Full UK driving License
