Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (20 hours per week)
Hours of Work: 07.00 -.11.00 hours or 14.00 – 18.00 hours
Hygiene Group Ltd. has a great opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail to become part of a dedicated and friendly team of Hygiene Operatives at a state of the art, new build site for a major-confectionery name in Middlewich, Cheshire.

Hygiene Operative – The Role
Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Hygiene Operative role is to carry out a variety of cleaning duties for a well-established and renowned confectionery manufacturer in Middlewich, Cheshire. You will form part of a small team of cleaning staff ensuring that the premises are maintained to necessary hygiene standards.
Duties include cleaning of the offices & canteen areas, maintaining vending machines, plus litter picking & bin emptying in external areas; occasional additional hours will also be required to cover holidays.
Key responsibilities are to:
- Perform a variety of cleaning and hygiene tasks as detailed within the cleaning instruction procedures.
- Ensure all activities are carried out and signed-off in accordance with hygiene, quality and safety standards.
- Be responsible for ensuring that waste material is correctly disposed of in accordance with the client’s environmental systems.
- Be responsible for alerting the Contract Manager to any issues that may impact upon the integrity of cleaning.
- Participate in mandatory site training relating to health & safety, hygiene and environmental issues.

Hygiene Operative – The Candidate:
Previous experience in cleaning and/or a food manufacturing environment is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
