Dental Front Office Coordinator
Greenhills Dental Care, dental office of Dr. Shirley H. Bien, is a state of the art practice delivering the very best care and customer service to patients of all ages. We are currently looking to fill a full-time position for our front desk. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, takes initiative, has confidence and integrity, has the ability to communicate well with patients and other team members, can present themselves with a professional image, and will help to provide a great first impression for our patients. Job Responsibilities Include:
- Greeting patients as they arrive and answering phones.
- Scheduling patient appointments.
- Dental charting and treatment plan presentation.
- Completing and filing electronic insurance forms and dental billing records.
- Accounts receivable and collection management.
- Managing office inventory and supplies.
- Communicating with dental supply vendors and insurance companies for verification.
- Office duties including document filing, organizing, scanning and creation.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Excellent phone and in-person communication skills.
- Organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- An understanding of dental office procedures and workflow.
- Technologically Savvy
- Great Listener
- Team worker
- Customer Service
- Bilingual, Spanish is a plus!
Work Hours and Benefits:
- This is a full time position.
- We are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9 am to 6 pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 7 pm.
- Excellent benefits are available including dental, vacation, holiday pay, and continuing education credits.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Dental Front Office: 1 year (recommended)
- Dental Scheduling: 1 year (recommended)
- Dental Insurance Billing: 1 year (recommended)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
