Welcome to the Dental Health Club. We are a specialist dental practice that focuses on the prevention and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease.
We are looking for a new member of our team. This individual does not require any previous training or experience in the field of dentistry but they would require good communication skills, interpersonal skills and be a good team player to fit into our existing team. Full training will be provided on the job to enable you to become a qualified dental nurse and registered with the GDC. We are able to offer you a position at a general dental practice one day a week so that you are able to gain your required time and experience for your training programme. Upon completion of the training placement, training programme and exams, you will become a permanent member of staff with the practice.
Our brand new clinic consists of four surgeries with the latest technologies in periodontal medicine- opening September 2023. Our team consist of dedicated hygiene and therapists along with two periodontal specialists. All of our team are heavily involved in research surrounding periodontal medicine and are influential in producing new treatment guidelines and protocols. We value each and every member of our staff and promote further training and involvement in new projects and ventures with our skilled clinicians.
Outside of working hours, we have a dedicated social secretary that is responsible for ‘extra- curricular’ activities. We have most recently visited our linked centre in Bristol and attended the ADI conference in Birmingham. Our team culture revolves around being passionate about we do, feeling pride in our work and accomplishment at the end of your working day.
