Demonstration Supervisor

Job Purpose Summary:

Assist management by actively motivating the team, driving sales and conducting live demonstration of products.

What you will be required to do as a Demonstration Supervisor:

  • Engage customers in your live demonstration to deliver an exciting and magical customer experience, thus increasing sales and setting a lead example to the rest of the team.
  • Enthusiastically and consistently demonstrate products to a high level, using highly developed selling skills
  • Gain excellent in-depth product knowledge within all demonstration products in the department and share this with the team
  • Understand the art/skill of demonstration and being able to train/educate new starters on this.
  • Increase sales performance of staff by coaching and providing feedback
  • Motivate and engage the team to exceed sales targets
  • Delivering energetic briefs to engage and motivate the team on a daily basis.
  • Effective prioritisation and delegation of tasks
  • Highly organised and can demonstrate great administrative skills, keeping daily/weekly reports and documents up to date.
  • Use formal methods of communication for discipline and ensuring team members are following store rules and policies.
  • Effective use of reports and KPI analysis to aid decision making.
  • Covering and seconding for the manager in their absence.
  • Thinking outside the box to find any way to help improve sales/performance/the department .
  • Responding instantly and reacting in a positive way to any changes or set backs.
  • Ability to highlight and reinforce some leadership skills in the ‘up and coming’ team members.
