The tuck box (andover) is looking for a driver to join our team in Andover. We are a family-oriented business and want to consider all applicants for the position.

Driver Summary:

The driver is responsible for driving the company owned vehicle in order to deliver product to customers and maintain our fleet vehicle in good working order. The driver will also be responsible for delivering product to our customers in the surrounding area as well as assisting with local deliveries as needed. This position will require working outside in all weather conditions and will also require driving a company vehicle as well as using a smartphone to log into our app to manage our vehicles. The position will primarily be in Andover but may also require travel to other locations within the surrounding area. The driver will be expected to work a flexible schedule but must be able to work at least 8 hours per day and 5 days per week.

Duties Include:

• Deliver products to customers within assigned radius
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle inside and out - remove trash daily, wash exterior surfaces, clean windows, check tire pressure, etc.
• Assist local delivery driver with scheduling and coordinating details (e.g., route, time, and date)
• Assist local drivers as needed - collect packages at customer locations, load packages onto the vehicle and assist local drivers as needed
• Provide support during trip (i.e., breaking down vehicle at stop places, restocking products, etc.)
• Always maintain a positive attitude and communicate with customers and coworkers!

Skills Required:

• Proven experience as a Driver or similar role
• Ability to operate a vehicle and perform basic maintenance functions effectively
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Good computer skills with experience in using an app-based platform for managing drivers (i.e., DriveNow)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelors degree is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Experience:

• Driving: 10 years (preferred)
• Delivery driver experience: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
