Our client, based in Cambridgeshire, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Delivery Project Manager working within the renewable energy sector. The organisation is fast growing and requires someone to have an open mindset and be willing to step in where required.
This role will involve managing global projects simultaneously, end to end, working closely with external customers as well as key stakeholders within the business across sales, engineering, manufacturing, finance and logistics.
It will be essential to have outstanding English language skills and be able to work well within a multicultural setting, both within the organisation as well as its client base.
The role reports into the Head of Delivery and works closely with the Delivery Engineer. This role is likely to involve 20 to 30% of global travel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and managing the project plan from end to end
- Risk management
- Delivering project status update sessions for the clients
- Working closely with manufacturing
- Managing project pricing
- Keeping stakeholders updated
- Managing resources both onsite and offsite
- Own and manage orders end to end
- Identifying ERP process improvements
- Working closely with Sales
Ideal candidate profile: -
- Min 5 years experience in end to end Project Management or Supply Chain Management in in a project based setting
- Industry experience; Electricity, Construction or Renewable Energy / Technology
- Knowledge of ERP systems is essential
- Good working knowledge of project management tools such as MS Projects, Kanban
- Good understanding of Lean principles
- Must be very IT literate and willing to learn new systems
- Track record in delivering process improvements
- Must have experience of working within a multi-cultural environment from an external client facing point of view
Base salary around £75,000 per annum + benefits.
