As a Receivables Product Manager in Commercial Banking Solutions, you will assist in defining and executing against the Commercial Banking receivables strategy. Responsibilities will include receivables strategy definition and execution, feature enhancement prioritization, project management, competitive gap analysis, market readiness, product pricing, and training. There will be a heavy focus on cross-Line of Business (LOB) partnership across multiple functional areas. You will focus on advancing our Wholesale Lockbox offering and product strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Leveraging expert knowledge of technologies and solutions to drive a receivables approach that marries the firm’s payment products
- Representing Commercial Bank client base as we advance the multi-year roll-out of new Smart Remit lockbox platform strategic investment
- Participating in working sessions to ensure successful completion of Lockbox unit cost study
- Rationalizing Lockbox site processing site footprint, business case analysis, and senior management recommendation
- Developing content that highlights receivables value proposition
- Facilitating execution of internal collateral, marketing material, and communications to support cross-functional teams in product delivery
- Refining and re-engineering end-to-end process for product delivery, and implementing change with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Assisting in managing product strategy to support requirements across industries and client segments
- Representing Commercial Bank client interests as a product liaison to develop future state product roadmaps
- Helping quantify the value we can deliver through operational processes and working capital improvement
- Segmenting the portfolio and analyzing product usage and trends across the Commercial Bank client base to identify areas of opportunity and vulnerability
- Coordinating and prioritizing product input on Commercial Bank investment process via input from Clients, Product Solutions Specialists, TMOs, and Bankers
- Developing close relationships and alignment with Product Management counterparts in Corporate & Investment Bank and Consumer and Community Banking
- Partnering with Change Readiness team to manage impact and readiness to Commercial Bank clients, TS Sales, Bankers, Service and Implementation related to new product/enhancement launches, product defects/ migrations/ exits, policy changes, etc.
- Collaborating with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, KYC, and Finance as needed while supporting all compliance and risk initiatives
- Leveraging an external network to ensure Commercial Bank is ahead of its competitors in the Receivables product space
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant banking experience with demonstrated experience in Receivables; strong preference for additional experience traditional treasury management payment products including Wholesale Lockbox.
- Strategic thinker that combines structured approach, strong analytical skills and creative problem solving - turning analysis into actionable insights and plans
- Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, with ability to deliver results within condensed timeframes
- Strong project management skills; well-organized, ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong written/verbal communication, leadership, and diplomacy skills to work cross-organizationally to influence others, drive results/change and implement projects/processes on simultaneous projects
- Thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with different delivery dates
- Ability to translate product vision into phased design requirements followed by execution of a go to market product launch
- Sales enablement experience with bringing new product capabilities to market and supporting sales education
- Segmenting, tracking and analyzing client product usage, profitability, risk profiles and pipeline development
- Advanced Excel and Access skill required
