Job description
The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading a team of IT Project Managers / Business Analysts working with diverse stakeholders to ensure the setup and installation of technology tools and solutions within the Epson EMEA organisation.
You will oversee the deployment of programs or systems, coordinating all the parties involved to ensure a smooth process with minimal disruption.
Reporting into the Head of ADSS (Application Development Support Services) you will work together with the Project Office, coordinating projects and resources.
The position is based out of our Sales and Marketing Office in Hemel Hempstead, UK, and, as flexibility is key to a modern lifestyle this role also comes with three/four days WFH.
What you will do:
- Implementing, monitoring, and delivering projects and setting up the project team organisation as well as supervising the project personnel based on a project plan, in cooperation with third parties when necessary, so that the set project objectives are realised within the preconditions of cost, quality, time, organisation and communication
- Establish a roadmap to modernise and improve deployment processes, aligned to business priorities
- Identify and eliminate pain points and single points of failure in the delivery process
- Align with ADSS team leads, Project Managers and various stakeholders to ensure ADSS Team members are working effectively within their assigned projects or Programs
- Resource capacity planning using applications such as Devops
- Perform all necessary project delivery management activities, i.e., planning, initiating, executing, monitoring, escalating, risk and stakeholder management, to ensure the successful product launch
- Work within a defined framework and contribute to improving that framework
- Help drive tooling and reporting within the ADSS organization which will create clear visibility into launch statuses and dependencies
- Manage multiple high-velocity projects simultaneously as well as change requests
- Communicate important activities / events to the business community, as required
- Ensure that all JSOX controls for project delivery are adhered to
- Be a key point of contact for external communications
- Coordinate and/or lead client facing meetings, including project status updates, SLA reviews, etc
What we ask for:
- In depth knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques
- Agile Project management is advantageous
- Ability to use PC statistical applications and software packages including advanced spreadsheet and database applications, graphics, and word processing
- Experience in resource planning, estimation, and tracking
- Expert in using Microsoft Project to produce detailed project plans and reports based on the completion of tasks as provided by the business development team
- Experience in JSOX would be advantageous
- Ability to use collaboration and project management tools such teams, Trello, Jira, Confluence and/ or Kanban
- An excellent level of both spoken and written English is mandatory
- Additional European or other languages would be an advantage
