Delivery Driver - $19/hour
This role is responsible for beer delivery to Waterloo Brewing customers in a company-provided van.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for following the delivery schedule and providing a high-quality service to key licensee accounts.
· Responsible for greeting and interacting with customers; providing superior customer service
· Provide product knowledge to assist in the sale of Waterloo products
· Answer customer inquiries in person, and over the phone
· Ensure responsible service of alcohol under Smart Serve guidelines at all times
· Weekly keg deliveries to restaurants. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
· Upkeep of company vehicle including, but not limited to, cleaning, fueling and oil changes as required
· Work a flexible schedule as required, including evening and weekend hours
· Treats customers and co-workers fairly and with integrity; builds positive relationships
· Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
· Contributes to an environment of continuous improvement and cost savings
· Shows willingness to learn new skills; gain new knowledge to meet or exceed job performance
· Works collaboratively as part of a team; is flexible (when required) to get work done
· Observes the company’s policies and guidelines (including health and safety policies)
· Demonstrates commitment to fellow co-workers by regular attendance and punctuality at work
Qualifications:
· Minimum High School diploma
· Must be 25 years of age for insurance purposes
· Must have a G class license and clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
· Must be Smart Serve Certified
· Ability to work alone and as a team player
· Computer knowledge (MS Outlook email, MS Word, Excel, etc.)
· Experience in serving, retail or customer service an asset
· Must be comfortable with some heavy lifting up to 100lbs
· Must be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends
