Job description

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking up, loading and delivering orders to customers in a timely and safe manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to follow directions accurately. The Delivery Driver must also be able to handle heavy lifting and work in all weather conditions.

Role requirements:

• Ability to load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner
• Previous multi-drop experience required
• To hold a clean driving licence
• Be confident driving a transit van
• Complete planned route within allocated time frame
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery issues
• Cash handling
• Good customer service skills
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle in accordance with company standards
• Knowledge of the local area is desirable
• The job requires heavy lifting
• Attention to detail is required when picking customer orders

Shedule:

• 5.30am-1pm 5 days a week
• Weekend work including Sunday rota and Bank Holidays*

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.00-£11.50 per hour

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
