Job description
We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking up, loading and delivering orders to customers in a timely and safe manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to follow directions accurately. The Delivery Driver must also be able to handle heavy lifting and work in all weather conditions.
Role requirements:
- Ability to load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner
- Previous multi-drop experience required
- To hold a clean driving licence
- Be confident driving a transit van
- Complete planned route within allocated time frame
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery issues
- Cash handling
- Good customer service skills
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle in accordance with company standards
- Knowledge of the local area is desirable
- The job requires heavy lifting
- Attention to detail is required when picking customer orders
Shedule:
- 5.30am-1pm 5 days a week
- Weekend work including Sunday rota and Bank Holidays*
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.00-£11.50 per hour
