Working Hours
8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday + Saturday morning rota.
40 Basic Weekly Hours.
Job Summary
Sherwood Truck and Van, are looking for a trainee to develop and grow with the parts department in Stoke. This role will involve on-the-job training with the possibility of enhancing your knowledge with external training courses. No prior experience is required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Full clean UK driving licence required.
- This role will require minimal manual handling.
- You will be provided with an automatic truck in order to carry out your duties.
- Checking off deliveries for accuracy, computer literacy is therefore preferred.
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Observing health & safety rules and keeping warehouse clean, neat & tidy.
- General warehouse duties.
- Goods In & Out.
- Parts picking and parts identification.
Specifications & Requirements
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Previous FLT training and experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
