Job description
We are looking to employ a number of Multi Drop Parcel couriers on a full-time permanent or part-time basis to be either employed or self-employed. We deliver on every day of the week, so the successful applicant must be available for :-
Full time - at least 4 week days and either weekend day (as required)
Part-time - weekends and preferably a week day
This will be at our DPD site in Morley. We will need full disclosure if you have ever worked for DPD before.
Although experience in this type of work would be desirable, you will be given full initial training during the paid 12 week probationary period leading to a permanent employed or self employed contract for the successful candidate.

For this role you will need to live in the Leeds area or be willing to travel to our depot, hold a current clean (3 points max) driving license, preferably have experience of driving a medium to long wheel base van and have more than 3 years driving experience.
You must have your own transport to and from our depot in Morley.
Your driving licence must match your current home address. Additionally we will ask to see a driving licence code, proof of national insurance and proof of eligibility to work in the UK - for example passport, birth certificate etc.

Responsibilities and Duties
You will be delivering parcels to residential and business addresses throughout postcodes in the Leeds and surrounding areas along with regular scheduled collections at the end of the day.
A company van is supplied to complete your duties. All vans are fitted with telematics trackers and you will be expected to drive to a reasonable and competent standard whilst representing the company.
You will be required to work weekends as required.

The successful applicant must be physically fit, hardworking, reliable and dependable, possess good time management skills, able to work independently as well as part of a team, trustworthy, have good communication and customer service skills and be able to take instruction and direction from Management based on any Health and Safety or customer service requirements.
