Roadside Technologies Ltd are looking for a flexible delivery and install operative to join our team, working from our Chesterfield Depot. Your role will involve undertaking the installation, maintenance and collection of our Traffic Management systems such as VMS, CCTV Towers and Pole mounted Speed signs etc. We have supply contracts across the UK in areas such as London and Kent. We have additional depots in London and Glasgow so occasionally transferring depots or meeting at central locations will be required.

Experience in delivering plant hire equipment and basic electronics knowledge is advantageous. As one of the fastest growing companies within the highways sector; you will understand the importance of building relationships with our customers, your colleagues and the general public. You should be able to follow instructions as directed, however, you are also able to use your own initiative when necessary.
We typically run a small fleet of new low floor custom built trucks and 4x4s. These are custom built trucks which can carry up to 3 trailers at once to customers sites across the UK.
The job Role:
Typical duties include:
· Delivery, installation and collection of equipment within TM works around the UK.
· Complete relevant weekly paperwork including timesheets, vehicle checks etc
· Shift work and working outside in all weathers
· Provide excellent customer service

About you:
· In the role of install Operative, you'll visit sites and set up equipment in an efficient, customer-focused manner.
· You'll have a flexible approach to your work and enjoy working as part of a team and own initiative
· A full UK driving licence. (B+E Advantageous)
· Preferred but not essential experience of working within the traffic management or plant hire sector.
· A good level of physical fitness to undertake the tasks of the role.
· Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and 3rd party members
· Willing to undertake relevant training and development
· A strong commitment to Health and Safety are number one priority for the individual and the business.
· Prepared to work overtime and have flexibility to work unsocial hours to support the business and its traffic management requirements.
Key skills:
Preferred experience in a similar role working within a traffic management environment or plant hire sector. Experience including but not limited to delivery, installation, maintenance and collection of onsite equipment.
Essential:
· Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
· Live within one hour of the depot

Salary: £23,000- £24,500 depending upon experience.
