The GFG Alliance, is looking for a professional graphic designer to help bring to life a range of projects across a diverse business group Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager and working closely with the central Brand & Communications team, you will take the lead in turning in-house creative briefs from concept to reality.

The business is shorty to undertake a brand refresh so this is an important role at an important time in the company’s development.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Brand Marketing Manager in the development of brand assets in accordance with the new brand strategy and brand guidelines;
- Support the creation of the brand assets which will include template set up and implementation;
- Create a range of graphics for print including brochures, leaflets, datasheets, banners, events & exhibitions artwork, invitations, signage and others as required;
- Create infographics in the company style and colour scheme to support various communications efforts (including website and social media) and the creation of power point presentations;
- Manage all art working for print and print production;
- Assist in the maintenance of the brand and photo library; provide input for photo and video shoots where required;
- Interpret storyboards, visualize high-level concepts and create graphics and illustrations
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to design and implement digital brand compliant assets including: website concepts, email templates, social media posts, digital campaigns and others where required.
About the person
- Organized and able to use own initiative to develop and communicate ideas
- A passion for and a great understanding of design
- BA (Hons) or relevant qualification in Graphic Design (desirable)
- Exceptional communications skills, both written and spoken, with an eye for detail
- Able to talk through design briefs and decisions with a diverse range of people
- Ability to work closely with members of the team both in person and remotely
- Flexible and proactive with tasks and responsibilities, with a fun positive attitude
- Able to own a project from start to finish and work on numerous projects simultaneously
- An interest in digital and web design with the potential for growth
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
Skills & Capabilities
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with a passion for design and willingness to extend capabilities
- Portfolio evidence of excellent design work, demonstrating creative flair
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
- Knowledge of HTML or CSS, Web design, UX, email marketing design and asset sizing for social media
- Understanding of art working for print
- Understanding of digital design
