The job is ideally suited to someone who can work under pressure and is comfortable with manual handling and lifting of heavy boxes and cartons. Workload can be intense at times so a reasonable level of fitness is required. Be able to work on their own initiative and be able to plan and prioritise tasks. As well as looking after incoming goods, using forklift trucks to offload pallets from suppliers, you will be required to deliver goods and be able to perform various other administrative duties as required by the management. The candidate will also have to keep accurate records of cash collected, fuel purchases, log sheets, returns and other record requirements that may occur. Must be reliable and self-motivated
We are looking for a reliable person who is concerned with customer satisfaction, accuracy and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. You will pick, load vehicle and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, accurate, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

Role Includes:
- Taking responsibility for all logistical movement of goods and products, incoming and outgoing, ensuring customer orders are despatched & delivered promptly and safely
- Delivering customer orders to a wide range of industries using LGV Picking, loading and unloading stock by hand and using a fork lift truck. Delivering stock orders and accurately checking it off. Ensuring that vehicles are kept in appropriate condition that defects are reported and the cab interiors are kept tidy. Driving in a safe, courteous and legal manner. Dealing and communicating effectively and respectfully with co-workers and customers. Responding appropriately to customer enquiries and complaints. Receiving and recording payments.
- Among some requirements in the role is a good driving record, the appropriate current licence with no more than 3 points, having good navigation skills and being able to plan routes efficiently, basic IT, good English and Math abilities with clear written and spoken communication skills.
