Job description
Lucky Supply is a wholesale grocer based in Mississauga that has been in operation since 2014. Thanks to our customers and employees, we have expanded rapidly in the last several years. To meet customers’ increasing demands, Lucky Supply delivers to different areas in GTHA (Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area) multiple times a week and work with local and international suppliers to cater to our customers. Our products are from countries such as Canada, China, India, Japan, Korea, Thailand etc. We have served thousands of clients and have a diverse customer base including wholesalers, retailers, grocery stores, restaurants, and food courts.
Truck Delivery Driver
We are currently looking to hire full-time drivers that can start immediately.
Shift Time: 9:00 AM – 6 PM (approximately or until deliveries are completed)
Job Responsibilities:
- Reading and picking from order sheet when delivering to customers
- Delivering orders on time according to scheduled route
- Making sure client signs delivery invoice and pick up payments
- Transporting client’s orders from our warehouse in Downtown to clients around the Toronto
- Reviewing orders to ensure they are accurate
- Accurately Loading and unloading delivery orders
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Working with Sales and Warehouse staff to ensure smooth customer service
- Keeping track of mileage log
- Report any problems (i.e. damages to vehicle, shortage with an order etc.) to supervisor (if any)
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Positive attitude
- Comfortable driving long distances
- Ability to communicate in English
- · Familiarity with routes in and around GTA
- Understanding of food products is an asset
- Good customer service skills
- Valid G license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Open to work on statutory holidays and weekends
Experience:
- Minimum 2 year delivery driving experience with commercial trucks (Preferred) but willing to train
- Minimum 5 year driving experience with full G license (Required)
Salary: $20.00 per hour
