We're looking for a Volunteer and Project Manager to:
- renewing and implementing a structured plan for employee engagement in the UK.
- providing strategic and sound advice to colleagues through the bank.
- building, establishing and growing relationships with UBS colleagues and community partners and to create and deliver volunteering opportunities in line Social Impact themes and objectives.
- contributing to the creation of innovative initiatives for external client engagement.
- delivering, tracking and reporting on volunteering activities and expenditure.
- managing and developing the volunteer ambassador network.
- managing IT vendor relationships and implementation of technical solutions for volunteer recruitment and program management.
- ensuring compliance with UBS policies and standards in line with our risk management culture.
Your team
You will be working in the Social Impact and Philanthropy team in London. The team is responsible for supporting clients to maximize their impact and connect them to an international network of philanthropy experts. At a local level we seek to overcome the issues of wealth inequality and achieve social impact in our local communities by supporting education and the development of skills. In part this is achieved by connecting employees and clients to local communities through volunteering, enabling them to share their rime, skills and expertise.
Your expertise
- proven project management skills and experience
- clear understanding of social issues and the business rationale behind corporate community involvement
- experience of liaising with third sector organisations, schools and a range of internal stakeholders
- strong focus on delivering agreed outcomes and objectives, meeting budget and team expectations with a clear understanding of the importance of stakeholder expectations and risk mitigation
- strong IT skills (especially PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel)
- good interpersonal and networking skills
