A fantastic opportunity (HOME BASED) has arisen to join a SME Tour Operator Company called ‘Round The World Destinations’. You will be responsible for developing and securing tailormade travel packages and multi-stop around the world flights sales, whilst meeting your overall KPI sales targets. You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Director to support and lead social media and other marketing campaigns and for overall customer satisfaction.
The successful candidates will join our Sales team reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, making every element of the customer’s journey a ‘FIRST-CLASS’ experience resulting in a perfect holiday, simple and stress free.
You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent customer service. From making a payment to changing dates of a holiday as we are here to assist customers with their pre and post-holiday queries across our multiple contact and communication channels.

Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
· Achieving Sales Targets and KPIs, reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director
· Converting Travel Quotes into Sales
· Taking enquires via our multiple contact channels - telephone, messaging platform, email and social media.
· Taking ownership of effectively dealing with customer queries and trying to resolve any issues in a confident and professional manner.
· Providing customers with experienced travel advice
· Identifying the customers’ needs through effective questioning and selecting appropriate products to match the customer requirements or resolve their queries.
· Processing customer requested amendments to their upcoming holidays.
· Consistently demonstrating a strong focus and drive to achieve targets within agreed deadlines.
· Working as part of a team as well as working independently (Homebased) to handle and manage workloads.
· Demonstrating up to date product and brand knowledge while having an in-depth knowledge relating to our portfolio of destinations and supplier products.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· A senior qualification in Travel and Tourism would be ideal. But not essential. Experience is as important
· Formal Sales Training within a Travel environment would be desirable
Typical Candidate Experience
The successful candidate will have come from a travel background with over 4 years experience in online and tele-sales, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets. An experienced traveller, you will be able to effectively communicate your experiences to customers to provide them their dream holidays. Experience of using a GDS is essential.
Preferred Skills
· Over 3 years experience of working in the round the world and long-haul travel industry.
· Experience of using a GDS and supporting software systems – Preferably Amadeus
· Strong ability to close quotes
· Significant Travel experience across many countries
· Significant understanding of multi stop flight tickets
· Strong Negotiation Skills
· Strong Sales conversion skills
· Proven Closing Sales Conversion Skills
· MS Office Applications
· Proven Track Record of achieving sales KPI’s.
· Strong numeracy skills
· Ability to work well under pressure and on own initiative to meet sales targets.
· Ability to effectively prioritize, plan and organize work load to meet sales target.
· Ability to resolve customer issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Sound interpersonal and rapport building skills.
· Outstanding communication skills, written and oral.
· Customer Relationship building - Essential

· Strong Knowledge of CAA Package Travel Regulations (PTRs) - Desirable

Salary: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
