KEV Limited are looking for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver that and can join the company on a permanent basis.
This position is located within Peterborough paying a starting salary £11.50ph on a day shift only and on a full-time basis. From Monday to Friday and no working weekends.
We're happy to provide training on the job, and support your career progression. This role can easily lead to a warehouse management position and we would be happy to help you along the way.
Responsibilities
Our warehouse operative will be responsible of picking/packing of orders, using the warehouse systems for labelling and consignment arrangements and general warehouse duties such as keeping the warehouse organised and clean. As a wholesaler of truck and trailer parts, some products in our range require heavy lifting.
· You must have a forklift license, with desirable experience of loading and unloading different sized weight product, moving items in and out of a warehouse and able to update company records using a computer.
· Occasional delivery of a variety of items to different addresses and through different routes within the time frame, using our company van.
· Ensure product flow is maintained to support the team.
· Work safely to Company’s Health and Safety guidelines, whilst being focused on quality checking.
The ideal candidate will -:
· A certified forklift license.
· Have some forklift experience.
· Have held a driving license covering both categories, B1 and B for at least 2 years.
· Be reliable, hardworking, and good communicator written and verbally.
· Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Start Date
· Immediate Start
Working hours
· Shifts:- 9AM to 16:30PM.
· 37.5 hours a week.
Location
· Peterborough, UK.
Salary
· £11.50 per hour as starting salary.
