What you will be doing

As part of the Software Engineering team within Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Security UK you will be developing new cryptographic devices and key management systems to protect critically sensitive national and commercial information.

• You will have opportunity to grow your skills in both embedded and application software development to meet the demanding standards set by the UK National Cyber Security Centre.

• You will contribute across the full development lifecycle for bespoke cryptographic systems and associated products, in collaboration with systems, hardware, FPGA and verification teams.

• At the end of the 2 year development programme you will be fully equipped to be a key player as a Software Engineer in both a challenging and exciting business sector.
  

What we look for

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate;

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study

• Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Cyber Security.

• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

• The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.

• What you will need to apply

• At a minimum, a 2:1 degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related subject,

• Proficient in Software Design and at least one programming language,

• Proactive and comfortable working in an autonomous way,

Salary: £31,000
