Halo Recruit LTD is looking for a Van Driver to transport clients goods in a safe and timely manner. You will be responsible for the overall delivery of their products and will interact with their transport team to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional with a pleasant personality who wants to grow with the company.
Duties and responsibilities
- Transporting and loading products in a safe and timely manner
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform repairs when necessary
- Keep logs of routes and report any issues
- Maintain professional behavior with customers and fellow drivers
- Follow rules of the road (road signs, traffic laws, etc.)and follow delivery schedule
- Help answer customer’s questions about our products
- Follow procedures when delivering large packages
- Take delivery of product at client’s premises and verify accuracy of order
- Help resolve any problems that may occur during delivery
- Help maintain a clean vehicle and remove trash from vehicle at end of shift
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a Van Driver or similar role is preferred.
- Long Wheel Based Experience
Hours:
07:00am - 17:00pm Monday - Friday (Hours may vary due to customer demand so late or early finishes)
Pay Rate:
£10.92 per hour
