We are currently seeking a part-time delivery driver to join our team to cover staff holidays and sickness. Our company has been in operation for over 20 years and has established itself as the leading supplier of pet food products to convenience stores in Essex and neighbouring counties. As a delivery driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of our products to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 3.5-tonne Luton body van to deliver pet food products to convenience stores in the designated areas.
- Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries to meet customer expectations and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all relevant road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle.
- Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for the role.
- Valid driving licence with a maximum of 3 points.
- Previous experience with a 3.5tonne Luton body van is desirable, but not essential.
- A reliable and responsible individual with good time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and our team.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving packages during the delivery process.
- Flexibility to work additional days or hours as required to cover staff holidays and sickness.
