Job description
DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV (C+E), Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Monday – Friday – Starts generally at 4AM – until finish – differs. (Must be able to do nights out occasionally)
- Overtime available at weekends, must be able to work 5 weekends per year.
Carrying high value. Use of a pump truck, no handball deliveries
- Usually 2-4 deliveries
To complete the safe & efficient transportation of high value goods to customers using a commercial motor vehicle meeting company, customer & legislative requirement
Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- You will Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience required for this role is 2 years driving C+E minimum.
