Your key responsibilities will include:
Safely operating company vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
Planning and organizing delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
Loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Verifying the accuracy of delivery orders and ensuring proper documentation.
Providing exceptional customer service by professionally interacting with clients during deliveries.
Conducting routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness.
Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Reporting any incidents, accidents, or delays to the appropriate channels promptly.
Following company policies and procedures, including maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of vehicles.
Collaborating with the logistics team to address any issues or challenges that arise during deliveries.
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling deliveries.
Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, even under tight deadlines.
Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.53-$24.79 per hour
