Job description
The successful applicant will take on the role of delivering beer, wines and spirits in vans to hospitality venues across North Wales and other duties relating to maintaining a high level of customer service. There will also be a requirement to pick orders in the warehouse, assist with loading delivery vehicles and manually handle incoming deliveries into stock. On incoming delivery days, there will be a percentage of the day and potentially the following day spent assisting colleagues to physically carry stock at the warehouse to be placed in the correct locations.
The role includes frequent moving of heavy items for which training will be provided. The role consists of a five day working week which includes Saturdays and potentially Sundays during summer. Attendance on Bank Holiday weekends will also be required.
For driving insurance purposes, the successful applicant would need to be aged 30 and over.
The role is 40 hours per week with potential for overtime. There will be a trial period of three months for the successful applicant, following which the position will be reviewed based on performance.
We would require some flexibility to cover colleague's annual leave etc but the role generally consists of a rota of five days in work per week between Monday and Saturday (potentially Sunday) to be discussed. We are unable to guarantee two consecutive days off although we do aim to achieve this wherever possible.
Please do not telephone the office regarding this position. The landline number is strictly reserved for incoming phone calls from customers wishing to place orders only.
