Job description summary main roles:
Join our logistics and distribution team on our every day delivery service to our regular customers. (Restaurants, hotels, catering companies, etc)
Job description main points to take in to consideration before applying to this job:
- This role, will has an early start 05:00am 14:00pm. (Please do not apply unless you are interested in the early shift).
- This role will involve handling packed food and ingredients from 1kg to 25kg.
- Handling ingredients which contains pork meat. (Chorizo, Salami, prosciutto).
Applicants must:
- Have right to work in the UK
- Speak decent/fluent English.
- Have driving license.
- Calm & safe driver.
- Over the age of 25 due to fleet insurance reasons.
- Motivated with positive “can do” attitude.
- Be reliable and fit, job involve handling items up to 25kg (E.g. sack of Basmati rice)
Will help if the candidate has some of the following skills:
- Ability to work at pace while maintaining attention to detail.
- Have knowledge of food. (Cheeses, cured meats, chorizo, hams, etc)
- Have previous experience in a wholesale van distribution.
- To do aptitude
We offer:
- Full time, permanent contract.
- Monday to Friday work days.
- 9hours a day, with 1h break, 40 hours work per week. (Working hours could be slightly adjusted).
- Training commensurate with the tasks you are asked to complete. (Experience is not a must)
- Monthly payment.
- 21 paid days of holidays per year. (Plus 8 bank holiday days)
- We don’t work public holidays or weekends.
- We pay well more than minimum wage.
