Aimex Solutions LTD is a fast-growing company in the Reading area looking for an experienced courier to join our team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and willing to work hard. Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages from customers locations
• Use a variety of equipment (e.g. truck, forklift, hand truck, and hand cart)
• Maintain logs and records of deliveries and pickups
• Report any maintenance issues on vehicles or equipment to management
• Communicate with customers (e.g. when their order has arrived, if there are problems, or if the order has been cancelled)
• Follow safety guidelines at all times
• Address customer complaints in a courteous manner
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy at all times
• Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a courier/maintenance person/farming/etc. person (minimum of 1 year)
• Excellent knowledge of physics (e.g. moving items around rooms or through floors) and logistics (e.g. route planning)
• Ability to handle heavy packages (up to 100 pounds)
• Good communication skills (verbal, written)
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to oneself and one's health

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £3,000.00-£5,000.00 per month
