Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company-provided van to deliver goods to various destinations
- Efficiently plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Handle and load items onto the van with care, ensuring their safe transportation
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies, maintaining a clean driving record
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure its proper functioning
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent navigational and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
