The Authority is currently reviewing its pay strategy. The salary for this post is proposed to be £34,723 to £37,261. We are also expecting an annual pay award for 2023/24 to be negotiated and this will be applied and backdated to the start date of the successful candidate once agreed. The Role
We are looking for an ICT Systems and Database Manager to manage the integrity and security of the Authority’s business systems and SQL databases.
- To work with services to improve service delivery.
- To develop, enhance and maintain business systems and databases.
In the role you will be responsible for:
- the technical maintenance, monitoring and administration of the Authority’s database technologies and associated business systems.
- technical support and issue resolution
- managing supplier relationship
- continued development of new and existing database applications, including gathering requirements and designing solutions
About You
You will need to be hold a relevant qualification/certification for SQL server and be able to demonstrate experience:
- managing and administering SQL server
- designing, developing, maintaining and supporting databases and data driven business systems
- managing and coordinating third party and supplier relationships
- utilising business analysis methodologies for business process reviews.
- developing, managing and delivering projects
