The Role

We’re looking for aData Scientist to join our Group Data team! Data at N Brown has recently been elevated to one of the 5 strategic pillars, with a mission to establish data as an asset to win. The Group Data function, led by the Director of Data reporting to the CEO, has been established to define and implement the enterprise data vision and strategy. We are already a strongly data led business with a purpose to make our customers look and feel amazing.

What will you do as a Data Scientist at N Brown?

  • Use machine learning to solve complex business problems in various domains.
  • Produce compelling data stories backed by powerful visualisations.
  • Contribute to an open, progressive and passionate data community.
  • Write and code review efficient, production-level, test-driven code.
  • Use leading technologies to tackle major strategic initiatives.

What skills and experience will you have?

  • An excellent understanding of ML frameworks, algorithms and statistical methods.
  • A good understanding of Python and SQL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Critically, a passion to do amazing things with data science in a collaborative environment.
